CBB Promotional Group (1101 Kermit Drive, Nashville, TN 37217, 615-915-1234) is an affiliate of Smart Circle International. Smart Circle affiliates recruit salespeople to sell discount coupons for retailers and services. The problem is that the affiliates use deceptive recruitment ads using terms such as "entry level", "management training", and "sales and marketing". Beware of employment advertisements which appear "too good to be true".

: People of nashille TN, dont fall for the Entry level Customer Service Representative post on every job site imaginable, CBB Promotional also the location of Broad horizons Marketing, same spiel as CBB but selling your choice of a car wash that they even tell you wont even sell at walmart FW1 Racing formula. or selling chipio windshield chip repair, and from the looks of it you would be "making sure" the customer does "not" have a chip in their windshield, this can only be done after washing the windshield for the customer at "no cost to them" and then watching them go into a convenience store and "somehow" finding a chip in every single windshield. oh its no problem because it is no cost to them if they have full coverage insurance "wink wink" except when their insurance company tells them that it 'was' (yes thats past tense) not an authorized repair by an authorized repair facility. and the customer recieves a bill for 60 something per chip. dont waste your gas your time or even your cell phone minutes with these people, if you recieve a call from 615 915 2921 tell them to shove it.
CBB is a scam!!!! The part about paid training is true, but only if you make a sale or in their words "ring the bell"! Do not fall for it like I did. The employment turn-around rate is very high because most employees do not stay at this job too long. Also, they are a business-to-business marketing company, which means you are walking from one business to the next in various cities in Tennessee and Kentucky selling their "campaigns" in rain, sleet, snow, 100 degree weather, etc...
ReplyDeleteTHis company is a scam. Don't go to work for them. I know some one who worked 5 days and 50 hours and got $36. Get everything in writiing and copies of everthing you sign.
ReplyDeleteWow! Since I have been employed with CBB I have seen employess bring home 800 to 1200 checks weekly! It might just be me, but I believe thats almost double what a person on salary would make in a week?! I just have to throw that out there. Sales and marketing just isnt for everyone. Its alot of effort and you MUST have great people skills. If you want to succeed you have to work hard. I have been with the company about six months and have already seen many co workers promoted into mangement positions. This is a great company and I enjoy working for them. I intend to stay with the company since they have alot to offer.
ReplyDeleteReally? Is it a salary based job? hourly? commission?
Delete$800-1200 checks weekly? I call bullshit, Candace. PROVE IT
DeleteSoooo... I had my first interview today. Not too long ago I got a call back saying I made it through to the second interview. They haven't said anything about door to door though.
ReplyDeleteDid you get the job? Is it salary based? commission? hourly?
DeletePlease don"t waste you time with this company. They will use your time and pay you nothing. All those with the company for a month are managers. Many Heads but No Brains.
ReplyDelete****SCAM****You won't even make minimum wages. If they are shows checks for 800-1200, they're fake. Run as fast as you can from this company. I called the Predators are they never heard of these people> If you want to sell pizza coupons, oil changes or movie rentals from business to business, go for it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like Sears Home Improvement. They run you on your own car and gas, (reimbursing you a whole 21 cents per mile (and then they cheat you out of MANY miles - I was cheated out of $921 in miles), they cheat you out of commissions using a convouluted system and cheat the customer out of quality and merchandise. They are thieves under the sheeps wool of Sears - what once was a quality name. The quality of the work is horrific, the product is cheap and the workmen are off the street. Stay away from them too! One employee told me he went in the hole by $5,000 in 2010 fall. I didn't believe him until I checked out my losses to the tune of about $4,000 and $2500 in car repair and an unknown amount in unreimbursed gas at $4.00 a gallon last spring and summer. I worked for them for 3 LONGGGGGGGG months and really tried to make it work. One day I drove for 8 hours - and had 3 - 3 hour appointments. I got back home from 200 miles away about 1:30 AM and had to be back up at 7:00 AM to do it all over again. THEN, if you don't sell on the first high pressure appointment, they send someone in behind you with a better price break - if they sell you don't get a penny. Miserable company to work for. Stay away! Yes, this is a national company - in every state.
