San Antonio Marketing Inc (San Antonio, TX)

San Antonio Marketing (10010 San Pedro Ave., Suite 620, San Antonio, TX 78216, 210-340-6047) is an affiliate of Smart Circle International. Smart Circle affiliates recruit salespeople to sell discount coupons for retailers and services. The problem is that the affiliates use deceptive recruitment ads using terms such as "entry level", "management training", and "sales and marketing". Research the employment advertiser before committing time and money (transportation costs) to an interview. Beware of employment advertisements which appear "too good to be true". Ask whether the pay is commission per item sold.

Update: April 2013
The company's Product page still states "(Under Construction..)".
The company's Key Players page still states "(Coming Soon...)".
The company's Testimonial page still states "(Coming Soon..)".
The company website is still incomplete and vage on details.

Before you interview, think about this do you really want to sell tickets to sporting events for commission pay and probably drive your own car to get to different locations to sell said tickets?

For a company that has been in business since 2001, it appears they do not know how to design a website. The Products tab directs to "mission". The Key Players directs to "perfect candidate". The Testimonials tab directs to "direct advertising".

When this posting was created in April 2011, San Antonio Marketing had "Under Construction" and "Coming Soon...", in June 2012, San Antonio Marketing has the same "Under Construction" and "Coming Soon..."

  1. Appreciate your post. Their website looked sparse for a "successful" company that started in 2001.

  2. thank you very much to the original post. saved me time and expense. it is very deceptive. another co. that does this is Vector Marketing. Vector promotes themselves much like sa marketing but it is selling knives. wow. i dont care if they cut through a penny. i have zero intent on selling knives

    1. This company is now using the name Alamo Empire Events. Sounds like the same thing with a new name. Same address.

    2. You should have done your research on Alamo Empire Events, you are absolutly wrong. Alamo Empire Events does have the same address and same suite number as San Antonio Marketing because they share the same office, actually they are not affliated at all to San Antonio Marketing. Do your research before you feel like you need to share your wrong opinions.

  4. any recent news about the company above, I got a call for an interview a few hours ago and decided to look up some info and found this site, its across town so I would rather not waste time, gas or a nice dress shirt on a goose chase. If anyone has any details please share....thanks

  5. I went in for a preliminary interview today and was called back for a second one tomorrow. The office was okay, they seemed.desperate for people tho. Anyone been called back lately? Any advice?

    1. Everyone gets called back. They use the "second interview" to whore you out to do their dirty work without actually being on the payroll.

  6. I see this was from a while ago, but how was your second interview, and did you get the job, I have a second interview tomorrow and I was wondering what to expect
