Beware of attractive, but possibly deceptive job ads which offer entry-level training in management, marketing, and sales especially if the ads state "no experience required". If you decide to interview with such a company, ask many questions before accepting employment. Will you be paid minimum wage or commission? Are there company benefits? Beware of invitations for an all-day second "interview".

This is the same company. I had an interview and asked who 90/10 was, said they changed their name to Dallas Roadshow because of some kind of confusion..
ReplyDeleteWell, the whole thing is a scam. I lasted 3 weeks before I figured it out. Shame on me. They outright lie to you during the interview and hiring process. It's supposed to be minimum wage during training or minimum wage or commission, whichever is higher. They say you make $300-$500 per week for the first 2 - 4 weeks. When you don't and you question them, they get defensive and get all weird. Unless you are a student or fresh out of college and love standing on cement floors for 9 hours/ day, don't do it. I barely made gas money during the first 2 weeks. Never mind paying any real bills. The only one getting rich is the office manager/ independent operator. Everybody else is making him/her money. I can only warn everybody from even considering this. It's a pyramid scheme run from an actual office to give people the impression that they have "real" jobs. What a waste of time. I could have interviewed for good jobs during the last 3 weeks.
