Before you interview for their advertised jobs, ask yourself, do you really want to sell discount sell DirecTV subscriptions for minimum wage or commission pay (whichever is higher for your time worked).
Beware of attractive, but possibly deceptive job ads which offer entry-level training in management, marketing, and sales especially if the ads state no experience required. If you decide to interview with such a company, ask many questions before accepting employment. Will you be paid minimum wage or commission? Are there company benefits?

ReplyDeleteThis sound like any company associated with Cydcor. Especially in Atlanta, there are several small marketing companies that hire young, attractive 20-somethings to sell for large clients. Some of these companies are , NX Direct, Horning Marketing Group, BBC, and most importantly, DMC. Other possible Cydcor subsidiaries are Kinetic Marketing and KAWS Marketing

In my personal experience, the girl in charge at Horning, Sarah Horning, nabs her prospects then tosses them aside by promising to pay a certain commission then reneging. In my tenure with HMG, I watched about 4 people get taken to the cleaners by Sarah and her banditas bonita (beautiful bandits). The staff consisted of 20 super attractive young women and about 4 handsome men, and a few not-so-hot stragglers.
Thanks guys, everytime I start looking for a new job, they come calling with a different name. I had an interview with NX direct in Atlanta,ga tomorrow. I started to do my research and saw directv and knew what time it is. When I get a call the same day from a job and they wont tell me anything about the position, I know its a scam. I've seen them all Kirby selling vaccums haha, and one that said we were selling car spray from Nascar
