If you decide to interview with the company, ask many questions before accepting employment. What will you be selling? Will you be selling car wax, discount coupons, or some other items at a table "event"? Will you be trying to sign up customers for kitchen remodeling at Home Depot? Will you be paid minimum wage or commission? Are there company benefits?

I am surprised at how many close minded people there are in this world. I have worked for a sister company of New Wave Marketing for almost 4 years now. It has been the best experience I have had and has lead to an amazing career. Who wouldn't want the opportunity to learn marketing and management skills and be able to advance within a company in as little as 6 months to a year? Before you post maybe you should get ALL the details. There are no gimmicks, no pyramid schemes, and you dont have to pay them anything. So how is it a scam?

This company is not a scam. Their methods are a bit different than normal marketing firms but it works. I had worked for them and everything seemed perfectly fine, however I left to pursue a better job. The people I worked with were so nice to me being the new girl. The only things that seemed a bit sketchy to me was the fact that they didn't follow the regulation on how many hours I could work by law and the lack of a set lunch/break.
