Aspen Concepts, Inc (St. Louis, MO)

Beware of attractive, but possibly deceptive job ads which offer entry-level training in management, marketing, and sales especially if the ads state no experience required. If you decide to interview with such a company, ask many questions before accepting employment. Will you be paid minimum wage or commission? Are there company benefits?

People who interview with Cydcor affiliates are told they have the opportunity to be trained for marketing, management, sales, public relations, advertising, human resources so they can open their own office. What the job seekers are not told is that they are trained to open new independently owned Cydcor affiliate offices thus repeating the recruiting cycle.

Beware of invitations for an all-day second "interview". If you decide to go to the second "interview", wear comfortable shoes as you would be going door-to-door trying to sell AT&T services.

Aspen Concepts, Inc is located in the same office, Suite 101, as Franklin, Inc (formerly Franklin Marketing Insights, Inc), franklinstl.com or franklininsights.com. Aspen has the same telephone number as Franklin, Inc.

  1. This blog is the true scam. Notice there has been nothing negative written about these people, yet these "bloggers" have already labeled this business a scam and tainted their image. The reason why this blog exists is to make a buck off of the google ads on the top right corner of this page. They are hurting a local small business owner to make a few pennies. SHADY BLOG SCAM!!!! Disregard all their information! They are misleading you with deceptive titles for hard-working entrepreneurial Americans!

    1. This is a free blog on blogger. They arent making money off of this page. They dont even have google scents on it nor ad cents so they arent even making money off the hits. I will assume that "smarter man" is an employee of theirs.

    2. I am not an employee. I was looking at details before I made a judgement. There are ads on the top right side of this page that logically wouldnt be on here for free. do you work for the blog? if not I am not sure why you are commenting...

    3. Great tip
Ask questions on what you'll be doing on an interview.
Wow I'm mind blown. I actually do work for this company and smarter man is right, who are you to down anyone's dream?? you were probably a hire for one of our staff to train because as you know from the interview we are a pre management program. I split everyone I train 50/50 so it is paid training.
I knew exactly what I was going to be doing so maybe the lack of communication was your fault.

  2. The people posting here from aspen are just doing damage control. The whole thing is a waste of time as the original poster was getting at. I went in with plenty of questions because, quite frankly, their website and job postings are shit. After brow beating the strung out manager for some info on the products or services they offered he finally said they were into fiberoptics. What the hell does that mean? Well thankfully I looked further online and found out it meant selling uverse door to door. Also, expect to be hit up for money for a "uniform" before being offered any sort of compensation. I'm not sure how that equates into pre-management training but I'm sure the delusional management has some way to spin it so it sounds like it does. I'm not going to say anything about the employees because I think this company targets individuals with a weak will that they can talk into providing them with free labor for a few days (ever wonder why they are perpetually hiring for the same position) until they wise up. Post if you have any questions. also, please ignore the postings from people who are obviously associated with aspen/cydcor. They are just more manipulative efforts to try and sucker individuals into wasting their time providing free labor.
