Prudential Consulting, Inc (Albuquerque, NM)

Beware of attractive, but possibly deceptive job ads which offer entry-level training in management, marketing, and sales especially if the ads state "face to face" and "no experience required". If you decide to interview with such a company, ask many questions before accepting employment. Will you be paid minimum wage or commission? Are there company benefits? Beware of invitations for an all-day second "interview".

Beware of invitations for an all-day second "interview". If you decide to go to the second "interview", wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing lots of walking trying to sell door-to-door.

    1. Did you ever go to the first and second interview? What happened?

  2. Prudential Consulting, Inc. is a sales and consulting firm. The Albuquerque branch conducts residential sales for Century Link. The company is not a scam, just understand what this means. This information is fully provided in the first and second interview.

    1. If you decide to go to the first and second interviews at Prudential Consulting, we would love to know about your experience. You may or many not like selling Century Link telecom services door-to-door for commission pay.

Note, Vicki Apodaca (left comment on this blog on 08/17/2012), is a college student working as an intern (unpaid?) at Prudential Consulting.

  4. To anyone wondering what the interview process is like I went for a first interview last week.During the interview I was asked a few questions and I was told that sales and marketing is hard work, and not everyone is cut out for it which is obviously true since not everyone wants to work on commission but I'm used to it. Yes I was also told that in Albuquerque they sell century link services and get a leads list with names and addresses to go talk to the perspective customers and see if they can help people save money or give them faster internet or better tv since comcast was the only option for a long time. Thing's seemed genuine except I never got a call back for a second interview and I don't know why. I had some questions written before I went in but they were all answered during the interview which was only about 15 minutes long anyway. Hope this helps some people out.
