Veritas, Inc (Atlanta, GA) - False Testimonial?

The comment left on May 31, 2012 did not appear to be false testimonial written by a current employee of Veritas Atlanta or another Cydcor affiliate employee/manager otherwise the comment would have been deleted. Good pay and good hours are subjective. The comment author did not say what was good about the pay and the hours. If the same person wrote the comment on 05/31 and reply on 06/21 then this is an example of what some employees or managers will do, no matter how deceptive, to defend the reputation of their company.

I'm really confused by this blog. I came in for an interview today, and it was nothing like what I read. I almost cancelled my interview, but decided it was worth a shot. The office was really nice, and the girl up front was pretty helpful. I asked her alot of questions. I will say the guy that did my interview seemed a little rushed, which I didn't enjoy.
But if they call me back for another interview I will seriously consider it. It has good pay and good hours. And lord knows, I need a both of those right now.
So we will see. I'll keep everyone posted.

  1. IF they call you back?
Cydcor affiliate offices almost always call back jobseekers for a second interview. They have to constantly recruit new "management trainees" due to high turnovers and to build their teams.

Everyone would love to know: Did Veritas call you back? Did you go on the all-day second interview? Did you accept the job? What happened?
  2. I'd like to know as well. They are expecting me to call back for an interview on Monday. I'm not doing it without at least 1 good testimonial.
  3. They did call me back. And my second interview wasn't all day. I was only there for about 3 hours. It was actually way better than I expected. Because of all this negative stuff I was nervous. But I got there. And one of the manager took me out to lunch (the paid) we talked about the position more in detail, talked about training into management, and how much I would make. I was going to get paid salary and commission.
Oh and they asked me more interview questions.
Then after lunch meeting thingy, we went back to the office and I got to meet the owner (I think?) and he asked me about questions I might have, talked about the job duties some more etc.etc..
It was ALL way different than expected.
I actually enjoyed myself. They didn't offer me a position that day. They did call me a few days later to offer. I am graduating from college in a few months and plan on starting.
Oh and they had me come in and sign my paperwork, and showed me exactly how much I would be making, and time off, and everything. I even received a welcome packet.
So, long story short.. I'm kind of glad I went through this process.
  4. The above reply does not appear to be from the same person who used an AOL OpenID that wrote the comment on 05/31/2012. The person who left the reply used the name "entryleveljobsblog" and one of their favorite blogs is http://entryleveljobsblog.blogspot.com/ and the only posting in that blog is about Veritas, Inc Atlanta, dated December 9, 2011.

I have never read of any testimonials from jobseekers who accepted a second interview with a Cydcor affiliate office and stated their second interview was for only three hours. It is a well known policy that the second interview is an all-day shadow with one of their team leaders/senior account managers.

The reply is written in June 2012 and the person says Veritas offered him/her a position even though he/she is graduating from college in a few months. People graduate in May/June or December/January. Veritas asked this current college student to return to the office to sign papers and to receive a welcome packet. So, is this person going to work full-time for Veritas during summer vacation or was this person hired to to start work after graduation in a few months?
